Covid 19 - a disease which has still not proven to exist
At the time of writing, I am still concerned about the number of individuals who still believe that a virus called Covid 19 exists. This article is written to clarify the truth about the alleged existence of Covid 19.
Covid 19 allegedly refers to a disease and it is supposedly caused by the SARS-Cov-2 virus. However, no link has ever been made between a set of symptoms known as Covid 19 and the SARS-Cov-2 virus.
For a causal relationship to be established between virus and a disease, one of the criteria (Koch Postules) is that the virus must be isolated and purified and be present on every occasion that the disease manifests itself.
However, no causal relationship has yet been established between a set of symptoms named as Covid 19 and the SARS Cov-2 virus.
Indeed, when fluid has been extracted from the lungs of Chinese patients with symptoms of Covid 19, no virus has been isolated. What has been extracted is non-infective genetic material which is present in ALL people and in greater quantities in people with more severe illness of any type.
Viruses are named based on a number of their characteristics. These include:
- Genetic structure
- How transmissible it is
The coronavirus is an enveloped virus. This means it disguises itself by using the host cell membrane (envelope) to cloak itself with. By doing this it hopes to gain a little more time infecting host cells before it is detected.
Enveloped viruses change shape often. It is part of their strategy to evade detection. If the mutation is slow then it is known as ‘antigenic drift’.
If the change in form is more rapid, then it is known as ‘antigenic shift.’
These drifts and shifts are the reason why flu vaccines are given yearly to try and accommodate the different strains of flu.
A ‘novel’ virus is therefore not unusual.
For a disease to exist it – or the virus - much be legally, scientifically and medically recognised. For this to occur virus or disease has to be purified and isolated. It has to be proven to cause the illness that it is said to cause.
This has to date, not happened. A causal relationship between SARS Cov-2 and the disease symptoms known as COVID 19 has still not been established.
Symptoms of Covid 19
The main cluster of symptoms which are said to characterise Covid 19 are:
- High temperature
- New continuous cough
- Loss of change of sense of smell or taste
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Upset stomach
In older people and children, the immune system response is not as effective so this symptom may not manifest itself.
The efficacy of the flu vaccine for 2019 was only 43% effective over all groups. In the elderly, however, its efficacy is even less because the elderly mount a weakened immune response and so are less protected.
If we look at the over 65’s for the take up and effectiveness (assuming a normal immune response) we find:
72/100 uptake of those eligible X 43% efficacy = about 31 out of 100 elderly, who had reasonable protection from flu in the UK.
However, this figure is much lower if we take into consideration that this group would have most likely has a weakened immune response to the vaccine.
Given that:
- any illness that resulted in severe distress or death was not tested for to ascertain its origin
- symptoms can be attributable to influenza
- no causal relationship has been established between SARS Cov-2 and a set of symptoms known as Covid 19
- and that figures for deaths from flu for this year are considerably less than previous years

Thank you all for your comments. It does not appear that I can respond to each individual query on this site so I hope that you are able to find these comments at the end of this blog which are in relation to your queries.
Sanse Fitzpatrick
The gene sequencing of SARS- COV 2 does not actually mean that it has been isolated from someone with Covid symptoms. Indeed, those symptoms are generic in nature and could belong to dozens of respiratory viruses around at that time of year including rhinovirus, enterovirus and those in the family orthomoxyviridae (influenza) among many others. There has to be a link between the virus and symptoms and this has not been established. Those who were dying were not tested, autopsies were withdrawn and doctors were instructed to write covid on death certificates based on common symptoms which could belong to any manner of viruses.
Please refers to Mike's response below yours. Thank you Mike.
John Jordan...... No I do not believe that a virus responsible for covid symptoms has been isolated. The symptoms mentioned are generic symptoms - see my response to Sanse Fitzpatrick above - and could belong to any number of respiratory viruses. I have been sent many research papers by those who believe it has but they refer to the fact that SARS COC 2 MAY be responsible for covid but, of course 'MAY' is not a certainty.
According to records the SARS C2 virus entered the population between the beginning of Oct -Dec 2019 and did not cause any concern, deaths during that time. Viruses become less virulent as time passes. In March 2020 it was downgraded as being neither particularly infectious or dangerous. Lockdown occurred some days later and it was only then that deaths began to climb - this at the end of the season for respiratory viruses.
I would consider that lockdown policies and neglect of the elderly and vulnerable hastened deaths. The NOS show that numbers of deaths for that year were not remarkable. This has been supported by information from funeral homes.
